Case 2: Future Conference
Our customers came forward with a real business challenge. Business events had been running with the same concepts for decades. Decision makers were tired of attending similar events time after time.
Event managers asked us: “How do we make events more interactive, collaborative and create real networking possibilities for visitors? Not just a cup of coffee over light conversation.”
Dicole specialists built the event concept from ground up. Dicole implemented web-based social software solution, that allowed idea generation and rating, sparkling discussions, living wiki-based presentation notes, conference information, real-time updates on presentation videos and slides with embedded social media services.
Results were staggering; events became something novel – extended events. The interaction before and after conferences made the actual live event a unique experience. Live event was improved and focused based on pre-event conversations and speakers felt an instant connection to the audience. After all the audience had contributed and participated on event planning, in a sense. Live events became a stage where started discussions sparked into further ideas and discussions and were refined even after the show date in the community. The permanent value for visitors, however, was the ability to network in social networking area.
